Welcome, friends! I’m so glad you are here.
IF YOU WERE AT MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW…
I would be opening the door wide, grinning from ear to ear and exuberantly ushering you inside for a chat at the kitchen table with a glass of iced tea, some type of yummy treat and a colorful napkin tucked at your place.
My passion is to be a “door holder.” To open the door wide and make space for women to come and be cared for-- seen, known, and celebrated! I believe with all that I am that each and every one of us is deeply loved by God and has a unique story, gift, place, and passion with which to serve the Lord. I delight in any opportunity to sit with women and cheer them on in their God-given mission. I believe that the places God most wants to use us, the enemy will fight the hardest, so I count it a great privilege to “go to battle” for women…whether that is in prayer, small group Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, enneagram coaching, or teaching/leading retreats and workshops on identity, calling, and Spiritual Formation.
Most days you’ll find me in pursuit of the perfect unsweet iced tea (with lots of ice and a lemon!) to take along with me as I drive carpool, sit in seminary classes, spend time with women, gather around tables, attend to daily household tasks and seek the presence of Jesus throughout the day. Everyday I’m learning more and more what it looks like that “apart from him I can do nothing” but IN HIM and THROUGH him he equips me for the works he has prepared in advance for me to walk in.
Meet My Family
My husband Jeremy and I first got to know each other when we were 17 years old doing a work project with our high school. Jeremy and I have grown up together in every sense and have lived through many hard-fought battles for our own identities, our identity as a couple, and as a family. We are a work in process…one that is lived out with, and before, our 3 children, Chase, Ellie, & Tucker. We have called St. Louis, Missouri home all our lives.
